OpenText has announced they will be laying off approximately 1,200 employees as part of a plan to optimize the business.
The Kitchener-Waterloo based information management company made the change public in a blog post from CEO, Mark J. Barrenechea, on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, where they described their “Business Optimization Plan”.
