⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I wanted to give kudos to Mackenzie Irwin from Samfiru Tumarkin LLP. When my contract was terminated during the holidays, I had reached out to their office and the intake department representative assured me that she would be able to provide me with free consultation to hear my situation. I reached out to other law firms as well – and a few lawyers were on on vacation / holidays at the time and their consultation fees were very high, so Samfiru was the best option for me at the time. I had a consultation with Mackenzie, and she listened to me and understood my situation, thought that there was a good substance to take on the case. I then looked up reviews and media appearances as well for her and felt comfortable with my decision to retain her. She outlined everything and was transparent throughout it all. She answered questions where I didn’t understand and she gave me good advice where I had doubts to come to the best possible outcome. Her assistant Juliette Busch was also very helpful and assisted me through it all. In the end, we reached a resolution without having to go through claim or court and I was satisfied with that. You just need to go into it with an open mind, realize the price and fees may be high, and then calculate the remaining balance of what you should receive in the end. Get the most out of that figure and make a decision to settle or go to claim. You determine your win in that situation.
