What is the Ontario minimum wage in 2024?
The minimum wage in Ontario is $16.55 per hour. It will increase to $17.20 per hour on October 1, 2024. Minimum wage is the legally mandated lowest hourly pay that employers must offer to their workers in Ontario.

Is Ontario’s minimum wage going up in 2024?
Yes. The Ontario government announced on March 28, 2024 that the minimum wage will increase to $17.20 on October 1, 2024, continuing its annual practice of adjusting the wage around this time each year. This new amount will be in effect for the first 9 months of 2025 as well.
