Is Ontario’s minimum wage going up in 2024?
Yes. The Ontario government announced on March 28, 2024 that the minimum wage will increase to $17.20 on October 1, 2024, continuing its annual practice of adjusting the wage around this time each year. This new amount will be in effect for the first 9 months of 2025 as well.
