Show Notes
- Documenting the surrounding area after a slip and fall accident: It is important to document the area in which a slip and fall accident occurs. Photo evidence can show who ultimately was responsible for the accident and if there was negligence. It is also vital to report the incident as soon as it occurs as a delay can ensure there is no recourse possible.
- Injured in a car accident leads to permanent restrictions: In the event of a car accident which leads to severe injuries and permanent restrictions at the workplace, those who have sustained injuries are able to claim benefits from their insurance company. Severe injuries can lead to more than minimum compensation; such as income replacement benefits, and potentially other types of benefits.
- Can no longer work due to disability: Employers have an obligation to accommodate an employee with restrictions as a result of a medical condition. In some cases, disability claims and employment issues can overlap. It is important to seek legal advice from a disability lawyer that is efficient in both areas.
