Show Notes
- Injuries sustained on rental properties and vacation: It is vital for individuals who have sustained injuries at a rental property to report the incidents immediately. Properties must be safe for all residents and if an injury does occur due to negligence or a lack of safety, significant claims can be made and individuals are entitled to compensation.
- Strengthening a personal injury claim: In order to strengthen a personal injury claim, individuals can undergo treatment, and inform possible specialists involved as well as a regular family doctor. Individuals should not be dissuaded by insurance companies that an injury is not obvious to them and so there is no compensation available.
- Slip and fall accident leads to denial of WSIB: It is important to speak to a personal injury lawyer as soon as a slip and fall accident occurs. Personal injury claims and WSIB claims generally do not mix; individuals are only able to file one at a time.
