Show Notes
- Family member injured in a car accident: Many individuals who suffer injuries as a result of a car accident are unable to advocate for themselves. It is important for friends and family members to ensure adequate steps are taken to receive compensation and benefits. It is especially important for injured parties to contact a personal injury lawyer in order to ensure they are not communicating with insurers on their own.
- Severe injuries for a pedestrian after a collision: Treatment benefits after an accident occurs are typically considered to be no-fault benefits. These benefits are called “Section B” benefits and can provide rehabilitation for those injured after a collision with a motor vehicle. Section B benefits can also include compensation for loss of income.
- Medical condition pre-existing to an accident: Insurance companies will often try and dispute personal injury claims if a claimant had a medical condition prior to the accident. An accident can exacerbate many medical conditions and lead to further complications. Often claimants are unaware of a pre-existing medical condition and are still owed compensation if injured.
