Background
Before joining Samfiru Tumarkin LLP, Albert gained early legal experience in the insurance and personal injury fields, including working as a summer student at an international insurance company and articling at a leading personal injury law firm. That background gave him valuable insight into how insurers assess and challenge disability and injury claims.
Outside of his legal practice, Albert enjoys traveling, cooking, playing basketball, running, and attending comedy shows.

Education
Albert earned his Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.) from McGill University in 2010 before completing his law degree at Queen’s University in 2014.
During law school, Albert:
- Was involved in student government
- Tutored fellow law students
- Founded the Queen’s University chapter of a national charity
- Worked with several other organizations
- Played a variety of intramural sports
He was also the recipient of the Reuben Wells Prize for highest standing in one of his courses and spent a year working at the Queen’s Business Law Clinic.
