Woman, 87, dead following Boxing Day crash on Hwy. 7 near Perth
Incident details
An 87-year-old woman is dead following a Boxing Day crash in Innisville — east of Perth.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said in a news release that the woman “pulled onto Highway 7” and collided with an oncoming vehicle shortly after 2:30 p.m. ET on Dec. 26.
Both drivers were rushed to hospital. Unfortunately, the woman succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead on Jan. 1.
Investigation updates
The cause of the two-vehicle collision remains under investigation.
