“Very Quiet About Layoffs”: Shopify Slashed Scores of Staff Since 2023
A bombshell report claims that Shopify has quietly axed a significant amount of its workforce since sweeping job cuts in 2022 and 2023.
More than a dozen individuals with insight on the matter told The Logic that the e-commerce giant has scaled back its staffing levels with steady consistency — leaving employees exhausted and afraid.
“They’re very quiet about layoffs,” sources claimed.
“It became pretty clear [after May 2023] that they weren’t making a big show of [job cuts] anymore.”
