Oracle Could Cut Thousands of Jobs in March 2026 Amid AI Cash Crunch
What’s Happening at Oracle?
Oracle is reportedly planning to eliminate thousands of jobs in March 2026.
The update comes just weeks after analysts at TD Cowen warned that the tech giant could cut approximately 30,000 jobs this year and sell its health tech unit, Cerner, in an effort to ease financial challenges associated with its AI data centre expansion.
Which Roles at Oracle are Affected?
The latest round of job cuts is expected to affect various divisions across Oracle — especially roles that are less essential due to AI.
As of May 2025, the company employed a global workforce of roughly 162,000 people. Over 2,000 employees are located in Canada.
