Sun Life Financial denies disability coverage for Sandra Bullock

Sun Life Financial, a major insurance company in Canada, is denying long-term disability coverage to Georgetown, Ontario resident Sandra Bullock, arguing that if she is well enough to care for her severely disabled son, she should be fit enough to report for work. Bullock suffers from major depressive disorder, anxiety and recurring migraines.
