In Your Corner Expands to the Bell Media Network
In Your Corner, The Radio Show the Insurance Industry Doesn’t Want You to Hear, Expands to the Bell Media Network
TORONTO, May 17, 2019 – In Your Corner, Canada’s only radio show dedicated to helping people fight for their legitimate long-term disability and injury claims, expands to the Bell Media Network on Saturday, May 18th. Airing LIVE every Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. ET on Newstalk 1010 in Toronto and Newstalk 580 in Ottawa, the eye-opening program will dispel popular myths and provide listeners in both regions with the opportunity to get vital answers to questions about their disputes with their insurance provider.
“This is the show that the insurance industry does not want you to listen to,” said disability and personal injury lawyer Sivan Tumarkin, partner at Samfiru Tumarkin LLP and host of In Your Corner. “People feel powerless when their legitimate long-term disability claim is cut off or denied for inappropriate reasons, or their insurance provider is unwilling to provide much-needed financial support following an accident or injury. Insurance companies often rely on numerous excuses when denying legitimate claims. In Your Corner will explain what their rights are, and how to fight back against the insurers.”’
Tumarkin’s previous experience working for insurance companies has given him unique insight into why long-term disability and personal injury claims are denied. His understanding of the industry’s internal process has allowed him to secure strong results for his clients.
“Insurers will say that you’re not totally disabled or that there isn’t enough medical support for your disability claim, despite the fact your doctors say that you’re unable to return to work. They’ll waste your time through the appeals process, hoping that you will simple walk away from the money that is rightfully owed to you. The fact is that there are legal tools available that can be used to put the power back into your hands.”
In Your Corner’s radio expansion to the Bell Media Network follows the launch of the In Your Corner television program on Global TV in Ontario and British Columbia in January. The country’s only TV show focusing exclusively on long-term disability claims has educated tens of thousands of Canadians about the options available to them when they are denied or cut off long-term disability, and how to obtain the compensation they deserve.
