What’s going on at HPE?
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is planning to eliminate approximately 2,500 jobs, or five per cent of its workforce, as part of an 18-month cost-cutting program.
A spokesperson for the tech giant told CNBC that expected attrition has been factored into the reduction.
HPE expects its cost-cutting program to lead to gross savings of $350 million by the 2027 fiscal year.
