A 71-year-old woman is dead after a car and a dump truck collided in Whitchurch-Stouffville — a community northeast of Markham — on Feb. 24, 2026.
What Happened?
- The incident took place at Bloomington Road and Thornbay Drive, just west of Ninth Line, around 3:45pm ET on Feb. 24.
- According to officials, the 71-year-old woman was the driver of the car. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries after the crash.
- No injuries have been reported for the driver of the dump truck at this time.
