The federal government is waiving the one-week waiting period for employment insurance to assist Canadians workers who fall ill with or are forced to undergo quarantine because of coronavirus (COVID-19)

What rights does an employee have if they have to go into quarantine because of coronavirus? Is it fair to force an employee to take unpaid time off work to self-isolate?
