Edmonton LRT train derails after hitting flatbed truck at 75 Street, Roper Road

On Monday morning, a Valley Line LRT train derailed in southeast Edmonton after colliding with a flatbed truck. The incident occurred around 9:10 a.m. at the intersection of 75 Street and Roper Road when the truck made an illegal right turn at a red light. The train, unable to stop in time, crashed into the side of the truck, leading to the derailment.
