Dump truck collision in Tecumseh claims life of 61-year-old

Incident details
A 61-year-old is dead after an SUV and a dump truck collided in Tecumseh — southeast of Windsor.
The incident took place on Manning Road between Baseline Road and Walls Road around noon on Dec. 11.
- Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said one driver, a 61-year-old from Kingsville, was transported to hospital. Unfortunately, they were later pronounced dead.
- A photo of the scene shows significant damage to the front of a dark-coloured SUV.
- Manning Road was temporarily closed between County Road 42 and Walls Road.
Investigation updates
The cause of the collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
