COVID-19 Long-haulers denied disability benefits
The COVID-19 pandemic has ensured many Canadians have been unable to return to a state of normalcy. While some have lost their jobs, others who contracted the virus are still feeling the lingering effects and are unable to return to work. Despite this inability, insurance companies are denying disability claims due to COVID-19.
Sivan Tumarkin, a disability lawyer and co-founding partner at Samfiru Tumarkin LLP joined Global News’ The Morning Show to discuss these denials and what Canadians can do to pursue their benefits.
