Collision involving plow truck in Perth East claims life of 33-year-old

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal collision involving a passenger vehicle and a plow truck in Perth East—northwest of Waterloo.
- Emergency crews responded to Perth Line 86 between Perth Road 136 and Perth Road 140 around 6 a.m. ET on Dec. 5.
- The plow truck reportedly collided with the passenger vehicle.
- A 33-year-old from Gowanstown was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the plow truck didn’t suffer any injuries.
Investigation updates
The cause of the collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
