2 people arrested, fled multi-vehicle collision in Vaughan’s west end
Incident details
Two people have been arrested after fleeing the scene of a three-vehicle collision in Vaughan’s west end.
The incident took place near Highway 27 and Rutherford Road around 4:45 a.m. ET on Nov. 28.
- The York Regional Police Service (YRPS) said the two suspects were tracked down by the K-9 unit.
- One of the two suspects was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
- No injuries were reported for the other motorists involved in the collision.
Investigation updates
The cause of the three-vehicle collision remains under investigation. Officials haven’t disclosed the charges that the two individuals are facing.
