1 person dead, 2 hurt after head-on Hwy. 9 collision northeast of Calgary
Incident details
Alberta RCMP are investigating a fatal head-on collision on Highway 9 near Drumheller—northeast of Calgary.
- Emergency crews responded to a crash involving a car and semi-truck on the highway near Highway 836 around 7 a.m. MT on Nov. 14.
- The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
- The three occupants of the semi-truck were taken to hospital. None of their injuries are considered to be life-threatening.
Investigation updates
The cause of the head-on crash remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
