- Car accidents and personal injury: Many people are unaware of their rights in the event of a car accident and injuries sustained as a result of this accident. In Ontario, individuals involved in a car accident and have sustained injuries, are entitled to certain benefits from an insurance company. Accident benefits, such as income replacement benefits, are typically allotted regardless of whether or not an individual was at fault in a car accident.
- Recovering after an accident: In some cases, individuals are able to navigate the process after an accident. In most situations, however, it is important to seek advice from a legal expert regarding personal injury.
- Opening up a claim months after an accident: The limitation in order to open an accident benefits claim is typically two years after the date of the accident. Some individuals are unable to return to work as a result of their injuries and could be owed income replacement benefits.
