► 08:24 – Email from Help@disabilityrights.ca -I was let go from my job last week because my employer said that they need someone to fill in my spot. They are a large organization with over 200 people. I’ve been on long term disability for the last year and I’ve worked at my job for over 20 years so I’m very angry that I was let go. My fear is that I will be cut off disability especially since my adjuster said that I will need to find another occupation at the 2-year mark and they already told me that my benefits will end in December of this year but I’m not getting any better and I’m 52 years old. I don’t know what to do now because it seems that I don’t have a job to go back to if I could and my benefits will expire at the end of this year. I’m terrified. Do you have any advice?
