Before you get started

A few practical questions

What will it cost to get help?
Some consultations are free; others carry a fee, which we explain before you book. For employment matters accepted on contingency, the fee is calculated on additional money recovered after you hire us. The arrangement also explains taxes and expenses. Read our fee information.
Can you help while I am still employed?
Yes. We help with employment contracts, workplace changes, harassment, discrimination, leave and accommodation. Tell us what happened so we can explain the appropriate next step.
Does having my severance reviewed mean going to court?
No. A review helps you understand the offer and your options. If you hire us, we discuss negotiation and any further legal steps that may be appropriate. You make the decisions about your case.
What if my employment issue involves disability benefits?
In Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia, our firm can address connected employment and disability insurance issues. Mention both when you contact us. Explore our disability insurance services.
