Stan Fainzilberg is an Ontario employment lawyer and Partner with Samfiru Tumarkin LLP, practicing in the areas of Employment, Labour, and Human Rights law through the firm’s offices in Toronto and Ottawa.
Stan provides strategic legal advice and representation to employees and employers on a wide range of workplace issues, including:

Prior to joining Samfiru Tumarkin LLP Stan articled with one of Canada’s leading Labour and Employment law boutiques. He has successfully appeared before the Superior Court of Ontario, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Landlord and Tenant Board, and the Social Benefits Tribunal.
Radio Hosting
Stan is frequently hosts the Employment Law Show on Global News Radio 640 Toronto and 980 CFPL in London, which airs Mondays and Wednesdays at 7 p.m. ET. He is able to draw on his years of experience advocating on behalf of both employees and employers to answer caller questions about their employment rights on the employment law show heard across Canada.

Education
Stan has received a J.D. from the University of Western Ontario and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Waterloo.
While attending Western University Stan volunteered as a legal advisor at the Elgin-Oxford Legal Aid Clinic and as an International Humanitarian Law Coordinator with the Canadian Red Cross. During this time Stan also received several accolades including an internship grant for his work with the Red Cross and the Albert Abramson Q.C. Memorial Award for academic achievement.
