Rebecca Stap, a Licensed Paralegal, is the Disability Specialist at Samfiru Tumarkin LLP. She provides expert insight and information to those with questions regarding insurance company disability claims. She can tell you if your insurer is treating you fairly or not, and what options you may have.
Prior to joining the firm in 2020, Rebecca attended the Accelerated Paralegal program at Seneca College, where she volunteered with both the Julius Alexander Isaac Moot and the Criminal Lawyers’ Association. She was a member of the Legal Studies Student Association during her school days and is presently a member of the Ontario Paralegal Association.
A fun fact about Rebecca is that she was an Olympic Torchbearer for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. She ran a portion of the relay in Walkerton Ontario, carrying the Olympic flame from Greece, and has the torch on display in her house. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys camping, kayaking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
