  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • A proactive and forward-thinking approach
  • Flexibility to work independently or as part of a team
  • A willingness to provide vacation/sick/time off coverage
  • The ability to prioritize and meet urgent deadlines

Some of the tasks that you would be responsible for include, but aren’t limited to, the following:

  • Proofreading and compiling court documents to be filed and served
  • Filing of court documents
  • Booking mediations, examinations, pre-trials, etc.
  • Editing correspondence and forwarding same to opposing counsel, clients, etc.
  • Booking calls for the lawyer(s)
  • Serving documents on opposing counsel

We’re looking for an excellent team player who’s responsive, proactive, eager to learn, adaptable, and enjoys a fast-paced, but welcoming and supportive, environment.

The right candidate will be someone who can assist with all administrative duties (from filing and handling trust transactions to billing), and is familiar with scheduling mediations, examinations, pre-trials, etc.

Samfiru Tumarkin LLP is in a hybrid working model. For remote working, a strong home internet connection is required.

The salary range is between $52,000 to $65,000. Salary is commensurate with experience and is part of a competitive total compensation package. The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal and market equity for similar roles.
