Employment Lawyer – Vancouver

Samfiru Tumarkin LLP is a busy litigation firm with offices in Ontario, British Columbia, and Alberta. Our labour and employment practice in Vancouver is looking for a highly motivated and client-oriented associate who has 2+ years of experience in employment law and/or general litigation (this is NOT a position for newly called lawyers). Our ideal candidate will have a background as a plaintiff lawyer with contingency experience where possible. The successful candidate will have the option to work remotely, in office, or in a hybrid working model.

The ideal candidate will also have:

• LLB or equivalent;
• good standing with the LSBC;
• strong written and verbal communication skills;
• the aptitude to work independently while coordinating with other team members;
• excellent attention to detail;
• the competence to prioritize and meet urgent deadlines; and,
• employment law experience is an asset.

As a requirement for remote working, you will need:

• A home internet connection
