Articling Student – Calgary (2026-2027)

Samfiru Tumarkin LLP is a busy national litigation firm with offices in Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto, and Ottawa. Our lawyers specialize in employment law, as well as personal injury and insurance litigation.

We’re currently accepting applications for an Articling Student vacancy for the 2026-2027 term at our Calgary office.

Responsibilities include:

  • Legal document production (demand letters, claims, etc.)
  • Detailed and accurate research on assigned topics
  • Handling the day-to-day carriage of Small Claims Court files under the supervision of a lawyer or paralegal
  • Shadowing legal representatives at various appearances including mediations, motions, and trials
  • Completing certain administrative duties as needed

  • Flexibility to work independently or as part of a team
  • The ability to prioritize and meet urgent deadlines

This position is hybrid — allowing you to work remotely or from our Calgary office. For remote working, a reliable home internet connection is required.
