Woman critical, struck by truck in Toronto’s Pape Village

A woman has been rushed to hospital after being struck by a truck in Toronto’s Pape Village neighbourhood.
- The incident took place in the area of Pape and Mortimer Avenues before 2 p.m. ET on Feb. 6.
- Paramedics told the Toronto Star that the pedestrian, a woman in her 40s, is in life-threatening condition.
- Toronto police said in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that the driver of the truck remained at the scene.
- Mortimer Avenue was temporarily closed between Pape and Woodycrest Avenues.
