Woman, 65, hospitalized after being struck by Mazda in Kitchener
Incident details
A 65-year-old woman has been taken to hospital after being stuck by a Mazda in Kitchener.
- The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) responded to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian in the area of Highland Road and Lawrence Avenue around 6:20 p.m. ET on Oct. 25.
- Officials said in a news release on Oct. 28 that the woman was transported to local hospital with minor injuries.
- The driver of the Mazda, a 32-year-old man, didn’t suffer any injuries.
Investigation updates
The cause of the collision remains under investigation. WRPS said charges are anticipated.
