Woman, 31, hospitalized after being struck by Mazda in Kitchener
Incident details
A 31-year-old woman has been rushed to hospital after being struck by a Mazda in Kitchener.
The incident took place on Queen Street South near Courtland Avenue West around 8:30 a.m. ET on Dec. 11.
- The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) said in a news release that the pedestrian’s injuries aren’t considered to be life-threatening.
- The driver of the Mazda, a 25-year-old man, remained at the scene.
- Police said the driver didn’t sustain any physical injuries.
Investigation updates
The cause of the collision remains under investigation. Officials said charges are anticipated.
