Impaired Driver Arrested After Fleeing McDougall & Giles Crash in Windsor

Windsor Police say the crash happened shortly before 11:30 p.m. at McDougall Street and Giles Boulevard East.

  • One vehicle was found with rear-end damage
  • The second driver fled the scene
  • Witnesses helped police locate the suspect vehicle on Wellington Avenue
  • Officers arrested the woman and detected signs of impairment
  • She failed a breath test at headquarters
  • No physical injuries were reported

Police have charged Carol O’Keefe, 39, with impaired operation, failing to remain, and careless driving.
