640 Toronto – Waterloo Job Applicant Rejected Due To Somali Background

University of Waterloo grad Jama Hagi-Yusuf was rejected via email by a potential employer simply because he was born to Somali parents. Hagi-Yusuf filed a complaint with the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario that alleges J. Sandy Matheson of Integral Wealth Securities provided a rejection letter that negatively references the grad’s Somali background.
