• Toronto police responded to reports of multiple pedestrians being struck by a vehicle at Yonge Street and Churchill Avenue — south of Finch Avenue — before 3:30pm ET on Sept. 14.
• Insp. Dan Pravica told CTV News that the 3 pedestrians, a man and 2 women in their mid-20s to early 30s, were rushed to a trauma centre with serious to life-threatening injuries.
• The driver of the blue Volvo, a man in his 70s, was taken to local hospital with minor injuries.

Investigation Updates

The cause of the collision remains under investigation. Officials don’t believe it was a targeted or intentional act.
