Two pedestrians dead, struck by red Ford in Windsor
Incident details
Two pedestrians are dead following a single-vehicle collision on Walker Road near Edna Street in Windsor.
The incident took place before 2:30 p.m. ET on Nov. 18.
- A police source told the Windsor Star that the driver of a red Ford lost control and flipped over.
- Bystanders rushed over to get the red Ford upright and free the driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
- The driver of the red Ford, a woman, was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
- Walker Road was temporarily closed between Wyandotte Street East to Ottawa Street for the investigation.
Investigation updates
The cause of the single-vehicle collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
