One person has been taken to hospital following a serious collision involving a tractor-trailer and an SUV on Highway 401 in Mississauga on Oct. 31, 2025.

What Happened?

• The incident took place in the eastbound lanes of the highway around Winston Churchill Boulevard before 6am ET on Oct. 31.
• Footage of the scene, posted on X (formerly Twitter) by Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), shows damage to the vehicles and the concrete barrier for the westbound lanes.
• The individual taken to hospital is believed to have minor injuries.
