What Happened?
- The incident took place at the intersection of Humber Boulevard and Louvain Street, just west of Weston Road, shortly after 2:30pm ET on March 25.
- “We ask for your prayers for the student and their family during this time. We are also reminding all families who drive to exercise caution, reduce speed, and remain extra vigilant in school zones to help keep our community safe,” Stephen Carey, principal at St. Oscar Romero Catholic Secondary School, said in a letter to parents.
- The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
