Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), is planning to eliminate more than 12,000 jobs, or approximately 2% of its workforce, as part of a company-wide restructuring.
“We have been calling out new technologies, particularly AI and operating model changes,” CEO Krithi Krithivasan told Moneycontrol during a recent interview.
“The ways of working are changing…We need to be future-ready and agile.”
According to reports, the workforce reduction is expected to be complete by March 2026.
