School bus driver injured after collision with minivan in northeast Calgary

A school bus driver in Calgary has been taken to hospital after a collision with a white minivan ended with the bus crashing into a building.
- Emergency crews responded to the area of Edmonton Trail and 36 Street N.E. around 2:40 p.m. MT on Nov. 8.
- The driver of the school bus, who didn’t have any children on board, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
- Two adults and two kids in the minivan were assessed by paramedics at the scene.
- 14 people were in the building that the school bus struck. No one was hurt.
Investigation updates
The cause of the collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
