The accident occurred near the intersection of Steeles Avenue East and Reesor Road at approximately 6:20 p.m.

- Toronto police reported that the motorcycle rider, an adult male, sustained serious injuries and was transported to a trauma centre by paramedics.
- Despite the severity of the injuries, they were later confirmed to be non-life-threatening.
