A waiter who accidentally spilled wine on a customer’s $30,000 Hermes purse is being sued by their employer.

The customer, Maryana Beyder, has sued The Alpine Country Club in New Jersey, claiming that the restaurant is liable for damages. The restaurant is now pinning the blame on the waiter.
