• The incident took place in the Toronto-bound lanes of the QEW, just past the Mississauga Road exit, before 2:20pm ET on Sept. 15.
• Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) posted aerial footage of the scene on X (formerly Twitter) — showing traffic getting by in the merge lane.
• Officials didn’t disclose the severity of the injuries sustained by the driver of the passenger vehicle.
• No injuries were reported for the driver of the tractor-trailer.
