Driver Hospitalized Following Tractor-Trailer QEW Collision in Mississauga

The driver of a passenger vehicle has been taken to hospital following a collision with a tractor-trailer on the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) in Mississauga on Sept. 15, 2025.

What Happened?
- The incident took place in the Toronto-bound lanes of the QEW, just past the Mississauga Road exit, before 2:20pm ET on Sept. 15.
- Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) posted aerial footage of the scene on X (formerly Twitter) — showing traffic getting by in the merge lane.
- Officials didn’t disclose the severity of the injuries sustained by the driver of the passenger vehicle.
- No injuries were reported for the driver of the tractor-trailer.
