A woman in her 70s is dead after being struck by a vehicle near Peter Secor Park in Scarborough on Dec. 11, 2025.

• The incident took place around Homestead Road and Coronation Drive, south of Lawrence Avenue East, before 8:30am ET on Dec. 11.
• Paramedics rushed the pedestrian to hospital in critical condition. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.
• The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with Toronto police.
