What’s Happening at the PDSB?

The Peel District School Board (PDSB) mistakenly sent an email to all of its secondary school teachers in April 2026 — listing the names of 159 employees who were at risk of being laid off at the end of the current school year.

Paul Calandra, Ontario’s education minister, is now facing calls from political opponents and the public to fire the supervisor recently appointed by the province for the serious privacy breach.
