Ottawa police unveil most accident-prone intersection of 2024

Ottawa police announced that the intersection of Hunt Club Road and Riverside Drive — near Ottawa International Airport — saw the most car accidents in 2024.

From our 2024 collision report, data shows we should avoid Hunt Club Rd. and Riverside Dr. on Thursdays around 4 PM – and we should always drive safe!

This intersection has been on the radar of police in recent years. It was also the worst spot for collisions in 2019 and 2020.

Officials added that the City of Ottawa experienced 19,777 collisions last year.
