Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal pedestrian collision near Selkirk—south of Hamilton
- OPP claimed on X (formerly Twitter) that they responded to the scene just before 8 a.m. ET on Nov. 25.
- In an update around 11 a.m. ET, officials said that the pedestrian had been pronounced dead.
- The road was closed at Haldimand Road. 12 and Isabella Street for a couple of hours.
- The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.
Investigation updates
The cause of the collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
