Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal pedestrian collision near Selkirk—south of Hamilton

• OPP claimed on X (formerly Twitter) that they responded to the scene just before 8 a.m. ET on Nov. 25.
• In an update around 11 a.m. ET, officials said that the pedestrian had been pronounced dead.
• The road was closed at Haldimand Road. 12 and Isabella Street for a couple of hours.
• The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.
