What’s happening?
On May 13, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) posted on X (formerly Twitter) that officers have already responded to 80 fatal collisions in 2025 — resulting in the deaths of 93 people across the province.
The troubling update comes during Canada Road Safety Week, which runs from May 13 to May 19.
