Motorcyclist dead after early morning Mississauga crash near Ridgeway and Odyssey Drives

A motorcyclist has tragically died following a collision with another vehicle early Friday morning in Mississauga. The accident occurred shortly after 2 a.m. in the area of Ridgeway and Odyssey drives, according to Peel Regional Police.

Emergency responders arrived on the scene and transported the motorcyclist to the hospital without vital signs. Unfortunately, the rider was pronounced dead shortly thereafter, as confirmed by paramedics.

Due to the collision, the northbound lanes of the highway are currently blocked at Unity Drive, while the southbound lanes are closed at Platinum Drive. Motorists are advised to avoid the area as authorities continue their investigation.
