One man is in critical condition following a nine-vehicle crash in Uxbridge Township.

• Durham police posted on X (formerly Twitter) that incident took place on Regional Road 1 (Concession Road 7) between Zephyr Road and Fowlers Road before noon ET on Feb. 18.
• “Nine vehicles were involved in this collision. One male has been transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre in life-threatening condition,” officials said in an update.
• It remains unclear if the man was operating one of the vehicles involved in the crash.
• Motorists are being asked to avoid the area.
